In preparation for their playable demos at PAX West, Intrepid has released some exciting archetype posters for each of the four class types which are available for play in the PAX build. These abilities were already announced in a previous live stream, but it's cool to see the official descriptions and ability icons that will be used. Check it out and let us know in the comments section which archetype you find most appealing!

So basically, Cleric is a  resto shaman :D

This is very interesting: I can see how Cleric-Mage could be a great combo

Really cool to see the skills presented like this, I like it :) And they look so much better on a web site like this than they do in the Discord channel.

I think Cleric/Mage would make a really good combo but personally I am being drawn to a dedicated Tank on one character and Animal Handler/breeder on another just for fun :D

I wonder if the Bard will be just support or if there will be options to make it a better healer or better support character.

I'm kind of hoping Bard will work well with a variety of classes. It would be cool if it's something that's not terribly reliant on stats for effectiveness (i.e. gives most % bonuses to performance), so you could have a Warrior Poet, or a Ranger Bard, or a Healer Bard that's doubling down on support.

Just working my way through the posts on here and I know this is old but I just wanted to throw out there that I am actually really excited about the Ranger class.   I feel like it's cliche in a bad way,  but my first and best MMO experience was as a hunter in WoW for many years.  I've been chasing that dream ever since through various games and have never quite found anything that I enjoyed as much  (of course for many reasons beyond class abilities).  However,  these abilities look really good to me.  I like the minimum distance.   I like the movement abilities to keep the action happening.   It just leaves me with a good feeling and I can't wait to try it!  Alpha 2 is so far away lol.

Hey there @Mairaed, good thoughts. I think the Ranger looks really cool too. Have you seen the new abilities that were announced for the Ranger? Be sure to check out the new Ranger Compendium page.

Can't judge man - I've been playing a Paladin in basically every MMO I've played forever. Some of us just have a type, haha.
