    Good discussion @Aggelos and guests! Here are my biggest wishlist renames after thinking about this for a while and listening to your podcast.

    Fighter/Cleric: Highsword -> Crusader

    I think Aggelos' suggestion here is definitely the best available choice for this combination which is not already taken.

    Tank/Rogue: Nightshield -> Blackguard

    This one seemed like an obvious opportunity to involve a really classic RPG concept of the evil/unscrupulous knight and would be way cooler than "Nightshield".

    Tank/Bard: Argent -> Chronicler

    This one is hard to name, and my suggestion is maybe a bit outside the box, but my thinking is that Bards are storytellers, but Tanks are thematically about protection, law, order, truth, etc... So I thought Chronicler might be a neat lore-based named for a storyteller whose mission is to tell tales, but from a perspective of recording truth. Also some precedent from this in fantasy literature i.e. Rothfuss.

    Rogue/Mage: Nightspell -> Illusionist

    I am really with Thais and others on this that I hate how any Rogue combination was just "throw Night on it" and for Mage it's "throw Spell on it", so... Nightspell. I think Illusionist would capture the themes of both archetypes more effectively while adding a bit more classic RPG flavor.

    Ranger/Rogue: Scout -> Infiltrator

    I think the idea here is right, that a Ranger/Rogue is kinda an advance scout, a commando if you will, but I think they need to increase the attractiveness of class name because I agree with the concern that "Scout" is too bland. Infiltrator captures the same basic idea, but with a lot more sex appeal.

    Ranger/Mage: Scion -> Pathfinder

    Really not a fan of Scion in this context because it doesn't make any sense. My thinking with Pathfinder is that we know Mage's utility ability is to reveal hidden secrets, so a Ranger who explores the world complemented with Arcane talent to reveal hidden things...

    Ranger/Cleric: Soulbow -> Druid

    This seems like an obvious miss here. Druid is such a RPG staple that it feels like it should show up on the list. If you're going to put it anywhere, it would be R/C or C/R.

    Summoner/Mage: Spellmancer -> Elementalist

    Spellmancer sounds like what a novice author would call the bad guy in trash paperback fiction. I'm really surprised they did not go with Elementalist here. The whole mage theme is elemental damage, and summoning elementals is such a classic RPG trope. This one felt like it should have been obvious.

    Bard/Ranger: Song Warden -> Troubadour

    I'm not a fan of Song Warden, it sounds bland and lazy to me. I like the idea of Troubadour because that represents a travelling minstrel that roams the country-side capturing both the outdoor and exploration themes of the Ranger with the core aspects of the Bard.

    Bard/Fighter: Tellsword -> Skald

    I really really hate Tellsword. It's my most hated class name on the entire list so replacing it with the incredibly awesome "Skald" concept is a really easy improvement to make.

    Excellent suggestions @Atropos! Especially that Crusader one! Seriously tho skald isn’t amazing and I really like elementalist! Still unsure why there is no Druid it is so iconic!

    Nice ideas about changes to the names.

    I think I prefer "Song blade" or "blade dancer" over tellsword or Skald, but thats me I guess. I also think there is no real issue with Song Warden if it would have been the cleric list, since it sounds like a name for a cleric who is devoted to a music god, but yeah I just don't see it as something that screams "ranger" to me in any way.

    100% agree with the miss on Druid and Elementalist though! man, those felt like a 'gimme'!

    Great ideas Atropos ! I kinda like most of your the names you have provided better then their original one. But i would also love to see Warden beeing moved to Ranger/Cleric, and that they would put in Druid on Cleric/ranger. For me, the warden is more an dps class with some self healing skills, and the druid is more of an healing class, with heals as the major skill line and then some dps skills to back it up.

    Protector would fit alot better in with Tank/Ranger in my mind anyways. Like " The Protector of the forrest" or something.

    Micke"Holyelmo/Arias Windborn/ etc etc etc "

    Swede, loves playing healer in mmos, hates mmos without a true healing class. Even try to be a healer in PUBG .......

     My DAoC fandom is too strong for me to deny the Skald here, although I do think it might be a tiny bit out of place in Intrepid's world which, despite having a lot of mythological or cultural influences in the confirmed races and classes, there isn't much nordic inspiration in any of their stuff that we've seen so far. Maybe a little bit in the Vek, who knows.

     That actually makes a lot of sense. Also wanted to say that it's great to see another familiar face from Tamriel Foundry show up here in Ashes. I'm hoping for a bit more of that on the path towards launch. Welcome @Holyelmo!
